See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

Originally built in the 15th century as a coaching inn when it had its own brewery and stables. Following a fire in the 17th century it was rebuilt and re-named as The Phoenix. It has an open plan layout with dining area to one side and an open fire. There is a small car park to the rear of the pub and two public car parks within walking distance. Good-value pub grub plus specials served lunchtimes Monday to Friday, breakfast menu and traditional Sunday lunch.
