Once a coaching inn, this popular roadside pub has views across the Blackmore Vale. The public bar features a flagstone floor while the separate light and airy restaurant area has stripped oak floorboards. There is a patio and large garden at the rear. This friendly pub is renowned for superb home - cooked food (no meals Sunday eve) and comfortable accommodation. It usually has six local ciders to choose from and always three ales. Dogs are welcome in the bar.A beer festival is held each July.
