See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Once a coaching inn, this popular roadside pub has fine views across the Blackmore Vale. The public bar features a flagstone floor and low ceiling; the separate restaurant area is light and airy with stripped oak floorboards and farmhouse furniture. There is a pretty patio and large garden to the rear. This friendly pub is renowned for superb home - cooked food (no meals Sunday eve) and comfortable accommodation. Three changing beers are always available and a beer festival is held in July. Dogs are welcome in the bar.
